WeEmpowerAsia (WEA) Philippines has invited and recognized GCNP for the support it had provided the project in the three years of its programming work during WEA’s in-person “Stakeholders’ Appreciation and Closing Event” on June 28, 2022 held in Dusit Thani Hotel in Makati City. GCNP was represented by its Executive Director, Octavio (Bobby) Peralta.
WeEmpowerAsia, a UN Women programme funded by and in partnership with the European Union, had worked to increase the number of women who lead and participate in business in China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand and Viet Nam. The programme was also aimed at promoting inclusive and sustainable growth and build more gender-sensitive trade and supply chains between European and Asian markets.
