As the flagship activity of the Prosperity Pillar, a webinar entitled “Byaheng DigiSkarte: Tech UP MSMEs and Financing” will kick off on 22 March 2023, 10:00 to 11:30 via Zoom and Facebook Live. This event is an introduction to a mentoring program for micro, small and medium enterprises and help them recover from the losses incurred as a result of the disruptions during the pandemic. The program supports MSMEs who would need to adjust their strategies and tactics towards the use digital platforms, tools, approaches and innovations in doing business.
This 1.5-hour activity is designed to introduce to MSMEs the importance of adapting to the new context of using digital technology. The webinar will introduce the reasons of going digital, the present options available to MSMEs, how can MSMEs pursue these options and link them to financial institutions to increase their capacity to expand their business.
After the webinar, MSMEs can enroll in any of the mentoring topics. A self-assessment tool will help the entrepreneurs in selecting the appropriate mentoring program prior to enrollment. The GCNP will make sure that a batch of mentees (to be assigned per mentor) will be grouped in such a way that the mentees will be close to being homogenous.
